Mission

This is a performance group, which is to say, a benign(?) conspiracy.

We've created this, this THING. (gosh!) We said, "What do we want to say about this thing?" 
This is what we think we want to saY:

Tired of the conventional visions, shriveled and anemic, that have sucked the blood from the stage, put it on its sick bed, and poisoned its mind, we've decided it's about time somebody pulled the plug on old Bess! We've lived too long with things this way!! We gotta get out!!! So, like a tired lover, we've turned to murder!!!! Bessie's got to go!!!!! It's into the bath with a black plastic bag and hack hack hack with a handsaw!!!! Poor Bess!!! But ah, well, it's up to us now, to make something new from the pieces!! Something audacious and bloody; irresponsible (irrepressible?); surely something monstrous!

Oh, not that either! Hold on.

This:

A) It's important not to forget where we are, which is America. Try to remember that. We take it prtety seriously. We are "in a complicated relationship" with America. 

B) It's important to remember our time, which is now. We live and work with technologies. Duh, it's the 21st century. Everything is shiny and fluorescent. But we are dull bodies moving through time and space in the most interesting ways, which we will record and play back for your edification and enjoyment.


MANIFESTO
We are not cozy with the past. 
We reject tame theatre and tame answers. 
We set our deadly gaze upon the existing orthodoxies and intend to destroy them.
We will win because we can just flat out dance longer than our enemies.
